Hey guys,

So I’m putting together Primary issue one to sell at APE in a few weeks, and it dawned on me that I’d like it to have some extra stuff in the back. Really make it worth the purchase since it took so damned long to see print. I know I can put in my own character sketches and stuff, but I’d really like to have some fanart in there.

If you’re interested, I’ll be collecting fanart for the book until midnight this coming Sunday (the 11th). Then I’ll be printing the book for the show early next week. I’ll also feature the fanart on the site with the next couple of updates until it’s all been shown.

I’m looking for black and white 300 dpi greyscale images that fit within 6.125″x10.25″. I don’t care what character(s) it is, or what’s going on, but keep it mostly safe for work.

Hey guys,

Welcome back to the comic! I want to take a moment to thank you all for your patience over the last year and for everyone’s tremendous support over the last month, which has been particularly difficult.

Right now, the comic will be updating once a week on Mondays; but I’m hoping to build enough buffer to get us up to MWF after the new year.

A small sidenote that everything on the downloads page is now free – you no longer need to donate to download. (Though you can still download if you’d like – via the donation widgit on the upper right of each page.) Also, thanks to ComicPress 2.8, you can easily order prints of your favorite pages; which is pretty neat.

Enjoy the new page guys (I know it’s pretty mellow), and I’ll see you next week!

I’ve had a handful of people ask me this since I disappeared a few months ago, and life has finally settled down enough for me to consider answering it. I’m planning to have Primary return online on October 5th. This give me enough time to realistically continue updating Me and My Jane and Intentionally Left Blank regularly while also building a buffer for Primary.

I’ll make an honest effort to keep you guys posted on progress here in the meantime, and I’ll see you all in October.

Hey guys! We’ll be at Comic Con International next week: July 22nd-26th!

We’ll also be having artist signings at our booth (Small Press booth M4) to promote Side B on Friday.

You can come by and meet the following lovely artists from 11am to 4:30pm: Steve Orlando (11am – 12pm), Jeffrey Brown (12pm – 1pm), Ryan Kelly (1pm – 2pm), Cordus Holdenmauer (2pm – 3pm), Rob Guillory (3pm – 3:30pm), John Issacson (3:30 pm – 4:30pm).

So feel free to come by to get your book signed, or come by to buy a book to have signed. I’m sure the artists would dig it!

Scott, writer of Me and My Jane, will be at the booth on Thursday the 23rd and Friday the 24th, along with his roommate Adam (the real life Kellen). (If you would like Scott, Adam, or I to sign your copy of the Me and My Jane mini comic that we’re debuting at the show, we can totally do that too!)

You can find us at table M04 in the Small Press Pavilion next to Real Gone Girl Studios and Wild Things Creations. We’ll be the booth with the huge cyan-ish backdrop with sleepy nerds in front of it.

As a new years treat to my Primary readers, I wanted to offer a cute pin-up-esque print; as a thanks for their patience during the last two month’s sporadic updates.

(I’m also hoping this will tide Toubi/Simon ’shippers over for the next 20 or so pages that the boys won’t be starring in.)
