Poseur Ink was formed in 2001 as a small press comic book publisher and alternative apparel shop by writer/cartoonist Rachel Dukes. Based in San Diego, California the company specializes in independent comics, zines, 1″ buttons, and novelty t-shirts.

Since 2003, Poseur Ink has exhibited annually at San Diego’s Comic Con International. They have exhibited annually at the Alternative Press Expo since 2004 and Wondercon since 2008. Their comics are and accessories are sold in comic book shops and alternative apparel stores nationally.

In 2010, Poseur Ink chose to begin retailing comics by other publishers with similar products or shared anthology artists. They are currently the official retail store for Rosalarian Publishing and New Reliable Press, and also carry products by House Spirit Press.

Primary: A Love Story
A story about a group of teens on the threshold of adulthood, coming to terms with themselves and each other as they enter the adult world.

Intentionally Left Blank
The weekly journal comic about the day-to-day life of creator Dukes and her nearest and dearest.

About the Name:
Poseur Ink was named with the mindset that each of us is the sum of our influences that we love and hold dear. We are made up of the influences of the things we enjoy most. It’s with that in mind that we do our best to create products that we care about and hope others will enjoy as well.
