Hey guys,
I completely forgot to mention that we’ll be exhibiting at Emerald City Comicon next month, March 13th and 14th at the Washington State Convention Center. We’ll be at booth M-17 in Artist Alley, along the side wall (sandwiched between Man of Action Studios and Cloudscape Comics). We’ll have most of the shirts and all of the comics available with us, so please don’t hesitate to stop by! I should also have a folder of original art and comic pages on hand, so look forward to that!

Indie publishing company Poseur Ink is hoping to release a new and exciting graphic novel series upon the world: Octobriana. The book is a fantasy action piece that goes back to the superheriones’ origin in an underground protest zine which stood up for sexual expression in Soviet Russia. With this new incarnation being written by indie comics writer Steve Orlando (HOPE: New Orleans anthology, Outlaw Territory), and illustrated by Chaz Truog (Animal Man with Grant Morrison), the book is looking to be a titillating thrill.
We just launched a Kickstarter to help raise the printing fund for the book. (Should we raise more than that, the additional income would go to cover artist costs, advertising, and promotional materials.) By pledging to the fundraiser, you receive a sliding scale of rewards based on your pledge amount. Blog-related incentives include: work from Steve’s thesis that started it all, original sketches, pin-ups by various artists to be featured in the book, and digital mixtapes related to the series. Non-blog incentives include: a PDF of the book, a copy of the mini-comics, a copy of the full trade (4 issues plus bonus materials), a signed copy of the full trade, and original artwork from the book.
The story is wonderful, the art is fantastic… We simply can not wait to share Octobriana with you, and hope you’ll enjoy it!
Please check out the Kickstarter and pass on the good news to your friends!

We relaunched the store this month, and you might notice a lot of products we didn’t have before. This is because we’ve teamed up with the awesome folks over at Rosalarian Comics to bring even more awesome comics and shirts your way.
Rosalarian publishes humor, drama, and slice-of-life comics alike; but every one is a gem. So feel free to drop in the store and check them out. We’re stoked to have these folks aboard!
